The Drain-Rooter is a real labor-saver on long jobs or when working in a cramped area where the weight of the machine could get burdensome. The drum speed can be varied by changing pressure on the foot pedal and a quick-change drum system lets you switch to a different diameter cable in seconds. Of course, the cables are super-tough Flexi core with a wire rope center. The drum holds up to 50' of 5/16" cable or 35' of 3/8" cable.
